Board Members
The purpose of the St. Vincent 1845 Foundation is to solicit and manage funds for the repair, renovation and preservation of the St. Vincent's 1845 -1855 Convent Building.
The St. Vincent’s 1845 Foundation was founded by Mr. J. Thomas (Tom) Coleman, Jr., his daughter Celeste Shearouse, and Sr. Mary Jude Walsh, RSM, in 2005. The St. Vincent’s 1845 Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees. The current officers include Chairperson, Sally Welsh, Vice-Chairperson, Sr. Helen Marie Buttimer, Treasurer, Elizabeth S. Bremer and Treasurer, Amanda Cannon. Additional Board Members include Bill Broker, Vincent Ferraro, Vaughnette Goode-Walker, Ellen Harris, Mary Anne Hogan, Loretto Lominack, Diane Parker, Nena Schivera, Celeste Shearouse, Christian Sottile, Bernadette Winters, Sr. Donna Marie Coward, RSM and Melinda Spisso.
The Board consists of the following standing committees: Executive Committee, Development Committee, Finance Committee and Nominating Committee. The Board may appoint other committees, as necessary. Currently, the Nun Run Committee is a formal committee approved by the Board. The Nun Run is the revenue generating project of the Foundation.
The St. Vincent’s 1845 Foundation, Inc. is a registered Georgia corporation in good standing. St. Vincent's (Savannah Institute of the Sisters of Mercy) is our fiscal sponsor.
